The Fourfold Way
These four paths are described by Angeles Arrien, in her book, The Fourfold Way. It appears to be based on native tradition. I find it to be quite useful in checking in about whether I'm in balance with what I'm trying to do. I once shared these four paths in an RJ class, and one of the teachers exclaimed, "Those are Restorative Justice principles!" Makes sense that they share the same roots.
1. Show up and choose to be present.
2. Pay attention to what has heart and meaning.
3. Tell the truth without blame or judgment
4. Be open to outcome, not attached to outcome.
